Dear Mom,
Yes, I will be white again as soon as I’m out of the sun on a regular basis. Even with the rainy season, I’ve lost some color. As soon as the sun came out yesterday, there were 7 of us at the pool. We’ll never complain about the heat again. Unfortunately another storm’s on the way. Managaha is only a 20 minute ferry ride. To go to Tinnian, you take a boat or a plane. To go to Guam or Rota or any other island, you fly. There are 2 dumps on the island and the fire goes all the time. I’m not sure where in the water the sewage goes but it hasn’t affected the beauty yet. In 20 years, this might be like Hawaii.
3 months gone. They went really quickly. It’s hard to miss everyone when I hear from everyone so often (which is great!) After I called you, the next day was my day off and I didn’t injure myself. I sat with 5 other clubmates watching videos and drinking beer. In the morning though I visited the Country Club, went shopping, and explored a new resort that’s being built, as well as found a new store that sold wine. The important things in life!
