What passes for running

I have been apprehensive about running since my accident last June. I wasn’t much of a runner before the accident but I have been known to run for the triathlon. On Thursday, I gave a jog a try. I ran for 60 seconds and walked for 60 seconds. My body didn’t completely rebel. I was able to make the 1.5 mile jog back home.

We’ll call that success.

My legs and neck complained on Friday and even a little today even. DH is an advocate of the Pose Method for running (running on the balls of the feet, no heel strike) and although I’ve avoided it up to now, I think I’m ready for some training.
