Transparent

Transparent. I watched this Amazon Original series before it was tapped for the Golden Globes.

Jeffrey Tambor stars as a father who comes out to his family as transgender. The story flashes back to when Maura first discovers her sexuality (after being married and having 3 kids) and how the family responds to her admission. The 3 adult children lay on spectrum of sexuality and dysfunctionality. Maura comes across as the most centered and rational member of the family.

I had some personal issues watching the series, having a variety of conflicting feelings about the topic. Tambor did a fine job and was rewarded with a Golden Globe. When there is a season 3, I do plan to watch it.
