Rain and the Fitness Routine

Mondays I do a walking hill repeat. I park at the bottom of a hill in a residential area at 5:30am. I know, I’m crazy. It’s about a half mile up and I do it 3 times. It takes me about 50 minutes when I’m not injured. Since it’s residential, I feel pretty safe although I’ve encountered a coyote here and there as well as a gaggle of turkeys. Still, it’s pretty darn dark and cold in the winter.

It rained yesterday. What to do? I ended up going to the club and doing a spinning class. I don’t usually like to do back-to-back spinning classes (what I do on Tuesday) but I had to do something!
