It’s been a long time since I got a score of 4 from all members of the family. Plenty‘s Multi-veggie paella was a hit.
After asking Son for his rating, I confessed that the hardest thing about the recipe was that it called for the removal of the Lima bean skins. Son said “ah, that’s what it was about.” DH said “What was it about? All of the swearing in the kitchen?” Son “No, all the skins on the counter.” No, I did not swear while I was de-skinning the beans, but it was time consuming.
I like when recipes call for sherry or wine because then I drink the remaining wine over the course of the evening. The last time Sister and I traveled California, we stopped in various wineries and I picked up several Scheid 2011 Chardonnay’s specifically for cooking.
