While DH2 was in East Timor for his birthday adventure, I had some in-town adventures myself. Little Lon is a gin distillery in a CBD heritage listed red brick cottage offering a masterclass in gin distillation. I signed myself up for that.

Lunar New Year celebration performances were all over the city and even in the courtyard of our QV Building and I attended the yearly Midsumma Pride parade.

I started my U3A classes but didn’t find affinity with anyone. I felt very young and wasn’t interested in the dog training or gardening shows that other people talked about. I tried to observe Melb-hinge but it was cloudy all 3 days that the phenomenon could have been observed. I went to my gin making class at Puss & Mew and finally visited Herring Island.

We went to the Kinky History performance, discovered Flemington, went to see the musical Tina, and enjoyed the morning sunrises.

And then we went to Adelaide for the Fringe Festival! What a fun month!
