Margarita Adventure

This adventure is of the non-alcoholic margarita kind. This is a Santa Margarita adventure. I saw a newspaper article about ziplining in the Paso Robles area and wanted to check it out. I had never been to Santa Margarita before. It was sort of a wide spot in the road off the 101 freeway.

While we were waiting for the tour to begin (we got there way too early), we saw the Ancient Peaks wine tasting room across the street and decided that drinking wine was just the way to pass the time.

Properly buzzed, we took the shuttle ride through the Ancient Peaks ranch to get to our zipline starting point. When Daughter was at National Jamboree, she did a mile-long zip so she was not impressed with this adventure. Son wasn’t as vocal about his review of the tour. They both agreed that it was an acceptable way to pass an afternoon, which given their age, is about as good as it gets.

I just love the feeling of a zipline. I was happy with our adventure.
