If you heard a podcast called Lord of the Flies Cocktail Party, what do you think it would be about?”
This question was posed by Daughter out of the blue this morning.
After some thought I suggested it could be a bunch of boys talking about current pop culture. She laughed and said I wasn’t too far off.
During 6th period, Daughter doesn’t have a class so she goes to the library and does homework and apparently chats with her friends. She sets her Nexus7 in the middle of the table and records what her friends talk about. Yesterday the librarian came up to their table and said they were a little loud and they sounded like they were out of Lord of Flies. She left, but returned with a revised description: their murmurings with everyone else in the library sounded like a cocktail party.
Daughter liked this and decided the podcast of their teen musings should be Lord of the Flies Cocktail Party. I like it.
