Recently in my CSA share, I’ve been getting these LONG beans. Not just long green beans but looooong beans. They look like black worms or skinny eels.
The first time I got them in my share, I cut them into bite sized pieces to steam them to add to the salad. The next week at the CSA pickup, I was chastised by the other women for cutting them at all. They were intended to be served as long slithering things.
Now, I only steam and serve in their natural state. Don’t over-steam.
