It’s International Literacy Month. In honor of National Library Card Sign Up Month, Lio got a library card.
This is how I feel about my library card. Lio went on adventures all last week.
- While reading The Jabberwoky, the creature came to life, made a loud noise and was shushed by the librarian
- While reading HG Wells War of the Worlds, an alien began stalking the librarian
- 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea resulted in Lio having to fight off an octopus
When I read my library books, I get to go places I’ve never been, to places that don’t exist. I get to peek inside a different view of life and get carried away from my regular life. I love reading and last week’s Lio illustrated it beautifully.
