Good and Plenty

Here’s batch 3 of dishes I’ve tried from Plenty:

Sweet potato wedges with lemongrass creme fraiche

Rating: Daughter: 4; Son: 3
Note: loved the lemongrass flavor!

Roasted squash with sweet spices, lime and green chile

Rating: Daughter: 3.5; Son: 2
Note: Daughter “This is an acceptable way to eat squash.”

Tamara’s ratatouille

Rating: Daughter: 4; Son: 3
Note: disappeared in one gulp

Savoy cabbage and Parmesan rind soup

Rating: Daughter:4; Son: 3
Note: good use for Parmesan rinds

Marinated buffalo mozzarella and tomato / Barley and pomegranate salad

Rating: Daughter: 2.5/3; Son: 3/2.
Note: good use of pom seeds

Chard and saffron omelettes

Rating: Daughter: 3.5; Son: 2.5
Note: too much creme fraiche

Green lentils, asparagus and watercress

Rating: Daughter: 3; Son: 4
Note: it’s a salad-y kind of thing.

I also made – but didn’t take pictures of:

  • Lentils with tomatoes and Gorgonzola. Rating: 4. Takes a long time to make. Instagram wasn’t cooperating with me when I tried to take the picture.

Most foods now get different ratings by the kids. Son seems to be more of a critic these days. I’ve now completed 24 recipes from Plenty
