My daily routine involves comics; they come right after checking email. I rarely miss a day unless there is no internet connection. I look for something that applies to me, I look for something to brighten the day.
This year I added 3 new comics to my gocomics line up:
- Gray Matters – a boomer getting older
- Andertoons – generic levity and fun
- Twaggies – first crowd-sourced Web comic that takes funny tweets and turns them into even funnier cartoons
Two of my regular comics stopped production and went into re-runs: Sylvia and Cul de Sac. I stopped reading Peanuts when it went into reruns but I do still read Calvin and Hobbs.
XKCD remains a favorite because it’s something my boys and I share.
I participate in a Facebook group for fans of Brooke McEldowney who inks Pibgorn and 9 Chickweed Lane.
Looking forward to another year of morning laughter.
