81. Advertisement: Advertisements are everywhere, aren’t they? Write using the slogan or line from an ad.

Not everything is best enjoyed straight. Obey the rules, miss the fun.

I did a double-take when I saw this ad at the corner of Burke and Swanston. Anna Paquin is a celebrity who identifies as bisexual and I was surprised that an advertising campaign would embrace her sexuality in a big-market advertisement. There was a second ad, spotted at the Southern Cross Station that said “Who gives a dram about the rules?” and I found there was a 3rd campaign: “A man’s drink? Whiskey doesn’t care what’s between your legs.” Today I discovered there was a series of videos as well. I love her as an actress and queer-advocate plus I love Glenlivet so this ad was a win for me.
