52. Memory Lane: What does Memory Lane look like? How do you get there?
If I have ever taken a photo of something, google photos does not let me forget. Everyday, google serves me an “x year ago today” compilation of memories, or a throwback to “Sundays,” or “sacred reflections” of all the churches I’ve taken photos of. These are fun to remember.
I kept a journal from age twelve to age thirty-seven so if I ever want to catch up on that slice of my life, I can read a journal. I have boxes of memories in the basement. My intention is to get rid of everything but when I start on the task, I don’t know how to dispose of the box contents. Some memories are hard to let go.
