45. Mirror, Mirror: What if your mirror started talking to you? What might the mirror say?
You do know that you don’t see yourself as others do, right? You see the imperfections, the inconsistencies, and the parts that don’t fit with society’s standard of beauty. You look at the lines around your eyes, the crease between your eyes, the forehead lines, the marionette lines encircling your mouth and nose, and the neck wrinkles. You look at your gray hair, the thinning /slightly receding hairline, and the frizzy untamed mane. You critique your cellulite, sagging arm skin, and generous thighs. But others aren’t as critical. They know you and your passions, yet they still like you. You are more than the sum of the parts you criticize.
