When I was young, I was teased and gossiped about so all I wanted to do was escape the whispers and rumors. I considered the idea of fame and fortune and decided that I did not want fame in any shape or size but fortune seemed like a better route. Listening to a podcast about Taylor Swift, I’m horrified at how much time people speculate about her sexuality, the timing of her having sex, and who she might be having sex with. I know we’re curious about her but it it necessary to talk about something so personal? Grace and space should be offered to all regardless of someone’s public persona.
