303. Go Fly a Kite: Write about flying a kite.
As a child, I was fascinated by kites. I loved watching them and loved their gravity-defying existence. Each time I tried to fly a kite, the kite would fail to fly. Was there enough wind? Am I running fast or far enough? Is there anything wrong with the kite? I would get frustrated after several unsuccessful attempts and abort the venture. After a few years, I would try again with a new and improved kite, thinking that I was more mature and could figure it out better but again the exercise would end in failure. As a parent, I tried multiple times to give my kids that kite-flying experience I had always wanted but I fell short. Although I will never be able to fly a kite, I do enjoy when I see others with success.
