283. Brick Wall: Write a poem that is about a brick wall – whether literal or figurative.
Counting is a brick, the very basis of many concepts like math, measuring and, weighing
Letters are a brick, a foundation for reading and writing
Symbols are bricks for maps, shapes, and drawing
Colors are bricks for expressing, appreciating, and creating
The bricks build up slowly, one by one
Sometimes slower and sometimes faster
We like some more than another
Some challenge us more than the other
Taken together, the bricks become a wall, and eventually become a beautiful house
For all of our thoughts, memories, our internal lives and a guide to lead our external lives
Another brick in the wall
