277. Chalkboard: Imagine you are in a classroom. What does it say on the chalkboard?
In the most recent past, my chalk board exposure had been connected to staff retreats, trainings, or process groups. A common exercise was writing out the “group agreements” where everyone contributed to the rules that should be followed e.g. no interrupting, step up/step back, take breaks when needed. Often there would be a “blue sky thinking” exercise where any idea or solution was offered to what ever the topic was. I must admit that I am so happy that I no longer have to participate in these meetings since I have retired. I think I burned out on process group an don’t want to solve any more problems.
