266. Railroad: Write about a train and its cargo or passengers.
I was most impressed by the Swiss railway system in my recent visit to the country. The most striking feature was that the trains ran on time all the time! This meant we could rely on our timing and connections as we made multiple line switches as we traveled from one place to place. The trains and stations were clean and well maintained with no random trash or graffiti. What is it about this culture that this type of system is the norm and why can’t all trains in all countries be like this? Ticket takers were all pleasant plus other passengers were all civil. Using public transportation was an efficient and easy experience in Switzerland.
