262. Remote Control: Imagine you can fast forward and rewind your life with a remote control.
In a universe where I could fast forward or rewind my life with a remote control, how could I fast forward, see something I didn’t like and then try to change my trajectory to ensure it didn’t happen? That seems like a time travel problem I’m not sure how to be fixed. If I saw that I broke my leg due to hiking on Tunnel Trail on a March 14, 2026 I wouldn’t go hiking on that day and so breaking my leg wouldn’t happen. Then my remote control scenario would change each time I made a change to correct a problem? Would I get to see how I died and try to change that experience too?
