260. Forgotten Toy: Write from the perspective a forgotten or lost toy.
In the boxes that I have to get rid of lives many of my “lost” toys. As I open the boxes, at one point I will find paper dolls and physical dolls. One of my paper doll boxes will have four figures (Audrey, Claudia, Margit, and I can’t remember the fourth name) with beautiful clothes. Another paper doll will be named Judy with brown hair that flips at the end like Margo Thomas’ That Girl. I will find a baby doll in a white dress edged with red lace named Judy. I don’t want these anymore but what do I actually do with them? They aren’t in mint condition that a collector would want, and not donatable that a thrift store would want but do I really just throw them in the trash can? I think this is part of what makes getting rid of stuff so challenging.
