246. Peaceful: Write about something peaceful and serene.
During the pandemic, we did as much to stay sane as possible which included hiking and camping. We backpacked into the San Gorgonio mountains with the goal of hiking to the peak. It was early May with snow on the ground but that didn’t stop us from taking our 22lb dog and camping for 3 nights. We did not reach the peak since both the dog and I drooped after several hours of hiking and that night the dog refused to leave the tent to eat nor pee. DH2 carried the dog out the next day bundled into his backpack. It was a lovely place to spend some covid-free time.
