241. Comedy Club: Write something inspired by a comedian.
I was introduced to Sarah Cooper’s sketches in 2020 thanks to the pandemic. She is a young black woman who uses audio of Trump and lip syncs to the insane stuff that spews from his mouth. It’s hard to listen the garbage when it’s him saying it but it’s especially surreal when it comes out of Cooper’s persona. With her physicality and facial acting, you can identify the absurdity even clearer than when Trump uttered it. Sadly she has given up this comedy sketch and has decided to move on to other stand-up opportunities but I think there’s still a market for that genre. Someone else could fill that niche!
