231. Rhyme & No Reason: Make up a silly rhyming poem using made up words.
ew, no.
More than half way through this year of writing daily, I see patterns in what I can and cannot do. I do not think in terms of poetry, limerick, or rhyming plus I have a hard time creating fiction. I feel most comfortable writing what I know which means personal observation or narrative. I’m contemplating formalizing my personal stories for my kids, taking key stories of my life and shaping them to short stories. I am inspired by Whatever you do, don’t run, by Peter Allison where he writes his chapters on episodes of being a safari guide. I think that format could work for a memoir type of writing for me. I will ponder this more.
