203. Boredom: Write about being bored or make a list of different ways to entertain yourself.
I am rarely bored since there is so much in the world to do, view, listen to, and read. But occasionally there are situations where there is nothing to do but be bored. In the middle of the night when I can’t sleep and my audiobook, designed to be boring so I can sleep through it, isn’t enough to put me back to sleep. Traveling with no wifi or data can be boring. I was sick in Burma for 3 days with no internet. I had read and listened to everything I had brought with me, games didn’t work, creativity tools didn’t work, and I felt so miserable I couldn’t write anything. I am not fond of boredom.
