179. Gifts: Write about a gift you have given or received.
Today is my retirement day!! My manager walked into my office yesterday with 2 Trader Joe’s paper bags and I was intrigued so I pulled out the first bottle and it was Luxardo! I looked up at him excitedly and asked “an Aviation?” and he said yes!
On Sunday, DH2 asked me what my favorite cocktail was and I responded that it was an Aviation. Little did I know that he was asking for my manager who was creating a retirement gift which he then gifted me a whole bar of ingredients to make an Aviation! On my penultimate retirement night, I celebrated with my favorite cocktail. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
