I am not good at crossword puzzles since I look at the clues and have no clue what an answer should be. DH used to do daily crossword puzzles. I think his parents did them plus he had been doing them a long time and was pretty good at the game. I know that because he had a lot of experience, he knew the tricks and had a sense of what the clue was actually looking for. I see a clue “chaparral growth” and I get a picture of trees and brush. I have no idea what this clue is even suggesting the answer should be.
