170. Risk: Write about taking a gamble on something.
Life is a gamble since you never know how anything is truly ever going to turn out. Some things do have better odds at turning out how you expect but something can happen that changes the outcome. Isn’t that the whole idea around what an accident is? Walking down the stairs, we have an expectation that we will arrive at the bottom unharmed, we bet it will be a successful event. We have walked down stairs thousands of times so we feel confident in that bet. But if you catch your toe or stumble, you can fall down the stairs and lose that safety bet. You gamble doing anything.
