144. Mystical Creatures: Angels or other mystical creatures – use them as inspiration.
For my nighttime sleep audio book, I listened to “Encyclopedia of Spirits: The Ultimate Guide to the Magic of Fairies, Genies, Demons, Ghosts, Gods Goddesses” by Judika Illes. In print, the book weighs in at 1072 pages and in audio form, you can listen for 64 hours and 35 minutes. It is hard to fathom that there is that much made up about these mystical creatures. Since I don’t believe in these spirits, I’m curious who made up the initial stories, what purpose did they serve when they were created, and what is so compelling to some people to believe all these things are true. I feel this way about religion too.
