133. Gadgets: If you could invent a gadget, what would it do? Are there any gadgets that make your life easier?
Here are a few of my favorite gadgets that make my life better, created before I was born:
- Hot water heater
- Washing machine and dryer
- Dish washer
- Typewriter
- Wrist watch
- Car
- Telephone
- Air conditioning

- Computer, scanner, printer
- Smart phone
- GPS maps
- Video: viewing, conferencing
- Internet (not really a gadget)
- Quick dry, light weight clothing
- MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Digital Camera
Computers weren’t common until I was in graduate school and once I started using one, I could feel my brain re-wiring how it understood life and information. The internet and the ability to search for any information or to connect to anyone, anywhere were Star Trek level cool for me.
