102. Wardrobe: Write about a fashion model or what’s currently in your closet or drawers.
I miss my closet and drawers filled with beautiful apparel. Packing for Australia this trip, I wanted some cute items so I brought more than previous trips but I still long for the choices I have at home. I separate items in my closet first by type (cord pants, pants, leggings, jackets, long sleeve sweaters, short sleeve sweaters, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, tshirts, dresses, skirts) and then by color, dark to light. The exception for the dark to light are my dresses which I rotate meaning when I pick a dress, I pick whatever is on the right and when I wash it, I return it to the left. This way, I wear all of my dresses. With my upcoming work termination, I won’t need as much office attire so I probably will need to weed out some clothes. I think for the first year after quitting, when I wear something, I’ll tag the hanger with a safety pin or rubber band, and then what I don’t wear in a year, I’ll donate.
I have a closet and dresser full of costumes. I have boots, booties, nice flipflops, sandals, ballet flats, party shoes, and heels. I have a variety of outer coats from trench to leopard print faux-fur. Then there are the hoodies, workout gear, socks/bras/underware for every occasion. Yes I have too many clothes but I do wear them all at this point. I like choice and am happy with my selection.
