I like having a relationship with my book characters. Book series are a natural fit with my desire to learn more about a character and their make-believe world. Maybe this started as a child reading Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Lion/Witch/Wardrobe, Lord of the Rings.
I tend to consume series. Recent worlds I have explored:
- Harry Potter
- Twilight
- Hunger Games
- Game of Thrones
- Everything Charlaine Harris
I am happy that I started the Janet Evanovich’s Plum series. I’ve read the first 3. They are fluffy and an easy way to wind down. So now I’m also ready to see the movie “One for the Money” when it comes out this weekend. I love Katherine Heigl (just watched her in “Love Comes Softly“) and will be entertained regardless of what critics say.
