I will often write the kids’ chores on a white board when I will be away and want them to accomplish certain tasks. I wrote on Son’s side of the board:
- vacuum stairs
- prepare chard for dehydrator
- make bisquits
- bring in trash cans
- swiffer kitchen
Note: this was a long list because of carry over from last week. I went off on my walk and when I returned, all chores had been done.
Son asked, “Did you mean to write bisquits? How do you spell biscuit? Were you trying to spell Bisquick?”
Ah yes, I had meant to write biscuit but I wanted him to use Bisquick and my brain just made this word up without me even trying.
