AU Quarantine day 9

Today brought 2 good things and 1 irritating thing.

Norton Security emailed that three of my passwords were released on the dark web. Sigh, this again. I determined that two of the sites were dafont.com and friendster.com. These passwords weren’t used on any other site so although the risk was minimal, it’s annoying. I couldn’t determine what site the third password had been scraped from so I reviewed all of my passwords and thankfully it was a password that was so old that I didn’t even have a record of it. Still exasperating. I hate hackers.

The first joyful thing was a serenade by the Fijian Rugby team. I’d noted in day 7 that there were young black men across the courtyard as fellow quarantine inmates. They all stood on their balcony (still jealous that they have a window/door that opens) and sang 3 songs together. The rest of us came to our window, listened, clapped, and swayed to the music. I cried. What a wonderful surprise.

Gifts!

The second good thing was our sponsoring company sent us gift box full of bath products, wine, tea, and chocolate. OMG it was exactly what I needed. I had a low-level headache for days and my neck/back were sore because the desk I’m working at doesn’t have good ergonomics. The bath with the fragrant body scrub reset my system. It was a lovely gesture that made me very happy.
