New linens were delivered! A knock came at a non-food delivery time. OOH excitement! A new set of sheets and towels in large garbage bags were sitting outside the door. High drama for the day.
For my stop-gap animation explorations, I conceded that I needed to learn Adobe Lightroom. It is different enough from Photoshop that I needed actual instruction. I had a couple choices in where to get instruction. At UCSB, we get LinkedIn Learning (the site previously known as lynda.com) and the quality of Adobe instruction is very good there. I could also use Adobe’s tutorials. I opted for LinkedIn Learning’s “Learning Lightroom CC” by Jan Kabili.
In my day 6 animation adventure, I could not figure out how to do a global edit to all of my images. I found my answer in the tutorial at one hour thirty. A 4-minute segments about copying edits to other photos held the answer. It wasn’t hard, it just wasn’t intuitive or obvious. So now I’m not intimidated by Lightroom and think I can use it as a viable tool in my creative process
I didn’t realize until afterward that the majority of the image was out of focus 🙁 All is good though since I’m just playing and learning.
