Allegiant

Allegiant by Veronica Roth is the last of the Divergent Trilogy. This series so wants to be the Hunger Games and just like the that series, the first book is always the best.

This story is told from a dual perspective, Tris and Tobias, which should have been an indication that something would go wrong for one of them. The plot line is wildly far-fetched with world history being questioned along with genetic manipulation. The dystopian future ends with a ray of hope for equality between the genetically pure and genetically deficient.

One thing that I like was the long epilogue showing that life can go on after a loss or a change in political regime, with good and bad events along the way.
